First, I thank you, dear friend, for sparing time to visit my blog and have gone as far as landing your attention on this page. As I believe it is God's will to bring you here, I pray that you feel and think the same. Regardless, may He be glorified.

Credibility is an important word. In the online world, it is quite difficult to achieve when our actions are not seen by readers. But, it is no less different from the physical world because even what others see outside may be opposite behind closed doors. So, in my attempt to drizzle credibility on this blog through a life summary, it is my ultimate prayer that God lets you find it reliable. After all, anything we have and however we are would not be possible without Him.

With the desire to glorify only our Maker, I first wanted to avoid putting something about myself, but I am reminded that it is in our frailty that  God is most magnified. And I thought, for you to relate to me better, it is best that I share a fragment of His work in my life.

I am Genrose 🙂, a working student from Cebu—a province in Central Visayas from the Philippine Islands. I was born to a lower-class family in a neighboring province—Negros Oriental, filled with earthly dreams growing up but was called unto the Kingdom in my early teens by the grace and mercy of His Highness.

I was born and raised in the traditions of the Catholic Church and was brought out from her during my sophomore year in high school. I first attended a Charismatic church in my town and a Pentecostal one second. Then to the church I am in now, which is a Reformed church.

I teach at Sunday School in my church and neighborhood, which I consider a great privilege. I also strive to disciple four young girls in the neighborhood, for whom I continue to pray that God quickens and that regardless, may His will for them be done. Lastly, I serve as one of the volunteer writers for a Christian organization, known for answering Biblical-related questions, which I consider a great honor and privilege from God to serve the whole Body.

Ultimately, I am just any other wretched sinner, saved by grace, called to live and use her gifts for God's glory.

As much as I would like to share everything in detail—the journey where God slowly unfolded and led this poor creature unto truth, I also do not wish to bore you with minutes-long-to-read pages. So with the hope to magnify God through my experiences, if God allows it, I shall instead find time to share them bit by bit through my blog posts as we learn from each other. Until then, thank you for your interest in visiting my blog.

May our God, the God of peace, sanctify us through and through (1 Thessalonians 5:23) and give us peace at all times and in every way (2 Thessalonians 3:16). The grace of the Lord Jesus be with us all (Revelation 22:21).
